Fairytale RP!

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Fairytale RP!

Fairytale RP!

So Tovah had once made something like this, and I miss it, so I'm going to recreate it. I was thinking that you could either do a twist on a classic fairytale hero or heroine, or make your own. They go to a private high school to learn to fight aliens.

I'm going to go with the same character I had before.

Name: Gretel Rose

Appearence; Chin-length golden hair that curves in on one side and
curves out on the other. Dark, sapphire-blue eyes, slightly pink cheeks,
pale, small, at 5 ft. Commonly wears long sleeve camo shirt with denim
capris and lace up hunting boots. Or jeans, black t-shirt with Slay Your Own Dragons and a sword
on fire, black hunting boots. Oftenwears a cap. Whether navy blue or
camo.

Personality; Strong, quiet, observant, hard core, ready to fight. Loyal, open, and cheerful around her friends.

Story; So, this is a Hansel and Gretel in the modern world. Southern
girl! Her parents ditched her in the backwoods of Tennessee, in the
Great Smokey Mountains. A hunter thought she and her brother game and
accidentally shot him. (Explains what happens to Hansel.)

Power; She has a strong sense of direction, can see in the dark. Also can channel people's feelings well. Knows what they're feeling.

Weapon: Anything she can throw or shoot, except long spears. She can
throw knives, shoot a gun or bow. Whatever she can get her hands on.

So what do ya'll think? Good or bad idea?

Gretel ~

"But how do we stop this thing?" Snow asked. I had been thinking the same thing.

"We freeze its circuits, we blow it up, we cause it to shortcircuit, we smash it to smithereens," I spouted off, thorowing out suggestions that we had no idea how to execute.

"Uh, yeah," Jasmine said. "How do we do that?"

"I dunno," I muttered.

"Wait," Meg said suddenly. "Gretel may be onto something."

"Course I am! What am I on to?" I cried, elated I'd actually said something useful in all my gabbering, a little dismayed I hadn't the slightest clue what it was.

"We cause it to short circuit!" Meg said. "These things can't be totally invincible if it's a test. So, maybe we should try to get it in water or something."

"Uh, guys?" Cindy said, pointing. Suddenly, a laser beam made it's way through the wall, shooting through the room, and shattering a mirror on the opposite wall.

"Out the window!" Snow hollered. We scrambled out, dropping a few feet to the ground.

"So, great ideas," Jasmine panted as we ran. "But what if the short circuit idea doesn't work?"

"Uh, we go with Gretel's other plan. We try and blow it up," Meg said.

"Sweet," I said, grinning like chesire cat.

Great! How do I start this?

submitted by Mag Fan
(February 26, 2014 - 8:59 pm)

However you like! Just make up a character, either based on an already existing fairy tale, or make your own. And have them either arrive or already go to Fairytale High. We're currently trying to take down UFO things as a text from Alex, who is training us to go on a special mission. What that mission is exactly, we don't know. We're sort of winging it. It may be to fight aliens or something, we dunno. But anyway, there ya go! Don't worry too much about it, just have fun!

Note:  I'm going to be REALLY busy this weekend and all next week, plus my computer may be getting fixed, so I may not be able to get on. PLEASE DON'T LET THIS DIE!

Here's my character:

Name: Alice Marie Kayhole

Appearance: light, shoulder-length brown hair; ocean-blue eyes; pink cheeks; tall, at about 5 feet three inches; wears teal T-shirt with blue jeans that have holes in the knees and leather boots.

Personality: sweet, kind, brave, quiet, loyal, stands up for her friends

Story: She is a relative of Alice in Wonderland, but does not realize it until, one day, she finds a second cousin of hers who tells her who she really is, and who gives her the courage to stand up for herself.

Power: She can read people's minds and also knows kung-fu, a method of self-defense. She also is an expert archer.

Weapon: her bow and arrows, her body (kung-fu)

I have a couple of questions before I begin writing. First of all, should I read all the previous posts on this page so I know kinda what's going on, or can I just come up with my own thing, regardless of what's already been happening on here. And secondly, how often should I post on this page? Once a week? Twice a week? Every other day? Every day? After someone answers my questions (since I know BHR is busy this weekend), I can start posting her story! I can't wait to get started! :)

Dear Mag Fan:

Yes, I would recommend reading all that happened before in the story, so that you know what has been going on, and also so you know all the other characters. I post every other day or so, but I post more often than some, so I would say to post as soon as the story has been continued for a while by the other posters. I cannot wait to see what you add to our story!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

No one minds if I write a quick segemnt for Ash, right?

Ash~

I couldn't believe it. The MICE were chasing ME.

It was all probably for the best, I reminded myself. I could easily catch them if I started chasing them, and then who knows what would happen?!

We ran into Snow's room after all the girls exchanged frantic yells. I followed, followed by the mice. Three mice and one cat. Nothing out of the ordinary, I guess, because we were never given a second glance.

"But how do we stop this thing?" Snow asked the others. Not me. But I thought of something. They're dogs. This would work. It had to.

But, darn it, I was in cat form! I didn't think the others knew that I was the Master Cat... and if they did, they certainly didn't think I could turn into one! I wasn't sure if I wanted them to know, but this was practiclaly an emergency!

The others were talking about short-circuting the machines, and I was pretty sure the mice were dicussing how to destroy me. I frowned. They were cutting through the door. We'd have to do something!

We were going to be a team. Well, I didn't know about Meg and Cindy, as the two other girls called themselves. But I was sure that I wasn't the only one keeping secrets. And really, in the long run, they were going to find out. So I sighed as much as a cat can sigh, and changed back into human form.

"Ash?!" Gretel, Snow, and Jasmine exclaimed.

"Yes, it's me," I said. "Ask questions later. Snow! Do you have an dog treats, or bones, or anything in here?"

"But I though you were a cat!"

"It's not for me!" I pointed at the door. "It's for defeating those things!"

"Well, I did have to do a study of different bones for Mr. Mundane's class..."

"Great! Where are they?"

Snow grabbed two bones off of her desk.

"We need three."

"I don't have three."

"Then we'll break one in half!" Cindy shouted. Snow nodded and cracked the larger bone into two pieces.

"Now what?! They're almost through the door!" Jasmine urged.

"We need to throw these past them, not at them, past them, when they knock the door down," I explained.

"So right about now!" Gretel shouted, and she, Snow, and Cindy threw the three bones out of the room and into the corridor.

For a second, it looked like it didn't work, but then the UFO thing turned back around. The three UFOs disappeared to reveal three dogs eagerly munching away at the bones. The three biggest dogs you ever saw. I shuddered.

"Score!" shouted Gretel.

"It's not over yet," the resounded voice of Alex told us. "Not at all."

Ah, a brief moment to get on!

@ Mag Fan: Fantastic character! I've always loved Alice in Wonderland! As The Chocabookaholic said, read, or at least skimming, previous comments up to now would probably be a good idea. But after that, just write a piece and jump on in!

@ The Chocaholic: Thanks for keeping up this for me!!!

I'll give someone else a chance to write, but if I get a chance, I'll check back later!

Alice~

During all this, I had stood in the shadows, whatching  them destroy the UFO, but now I step out. Meg smiled warmly at me.

"Hello," she said. "Are you new here?"

I nodded. "I just got here, and I saw what you guys just did with those dogs, and I just wanted to say that you all are very brave and know how to keep your wits about you in all situations. One of my weaknesses is that in a stressful situation, I lose my mind," I grinned sheepishly.

Gretl said quietly, "We all have our weaknesses - some of us more than others."

Just then, Alex steped out from the shadows, glanced towards me, and looked away.

"You will be faced with a new, harder test; strange creatures from another planet have landed nearby, and it  will be up to you to defeat them."

Meg spoke up first, "Does she go with us?" she asked, pointing towards me.

"Who-" Alex looked my way. It was at that moment that I noticed how kind is eyes looked, in much contrast to his cold, stern mannerism.

Alex turned to the rest of the group again, "She needs to be tested as well as you do. I trust that you will keep an aye on her, and make sure that nothing happens to her while doing your tests," he said sternly.

There was a chorus of "We will"s from the group.

He turned to me once more.

"Girl-" he began.

"Alice," I interrupted.

"Alice," he began again impatiently. "Stay with them," he instructed, pointing towards the others. "You are going to go with them on their tests, where something bad could easily happen to any of them, including yourself. That is why you must stay with them, and offer advice only when they ask it of you. Do you promise you will do that?"

I nodded. "I promise."

After speaking for a short time with the others, he walked off, leaving us by ourselves on the stillness.

"Let's go rest," Gretl said. "Because I have a feeling that tomorrow will be a very busy day."

Cindy~

"Let's go rest," Gretel said. "Because I have a feeling that tomorrow will be a very busy day."

"Wait," Jasmine said, glaring at me. "What about her?" She pointed at me. She still hated me since I tried to steal Jerusalam, probably. I tried to look as innocent as possible, but gave up and said, " Hey, I helped you with the UFOs. You just can't discard me. Besides," I added. "Meg should be with me. She was not chosen either"

Gretel looked suprised at the knowledge that I had about the others, but said, "Well, tomorrow we'll ask Alex. Now let's get some rest." And we all headed to our separate dorms.

As I headed back to my dorm, a hand grabbed my shoulder, and I nearly screamed in surprise. It was Alex. "You will not come back to train, or fight the creatures, or make any contact with the others while they are training," she said. "You were not chosen for this. This is a very special job for very special people."

I gritted my teeth and told Alex that I had helped with the UFOs. "That was dumb luck," she said. "You will do what I say."

"No, I won't," I said in a low voice that scared even me. I pulled away from her grasp and headed up to my dorm, thinking about what I would do. I didn't get any sleep that night, but the next morning, oddly, I wasn't tired at all and ready to face Alex's predictable wrath.

~Meg and the Mice~

It had all been such a blur. I was upset with myself for having not helped them fight the dogs or UFOs. As an addition to my already numurous troubles, I was reviving Steve again, and I had just sent Charlie to the school nurse with Pip. Pip was having another seizure, which made me grateful for medical help.

*1hour later*

"Meg, we need to leave. I'm serious," Steve said.

I whirled my head around, tears flowing. "Not after meeting Cindy and Gretel. They are the first real friends I've ever had, and I won't give them up."

"I think Gretel's perfect." Charlie sighed the sigh he seemed to reserve only for Gretel.

Pip was already fast asleep, but he probably wouldn't have spoken even if he was awake, since he had hardly spoken for days. Steve tucked him in.

"Okay then, we'll stay, but don't say I didn't warn you," he said, hesitating.

"Goodnight boys," I said as I pulled the covers tighter around me.
